FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 18, 2008 Ricky Wolf will be participating in Open Practice at Lee USA Speedway this Saturday, tweaking the car for its qualifying attempt in the Governor's Cup 100 on Sunday. "Crew chief Jason Horne has a few more things he wants to try to see if we can pick up the pace even a little bit more from where we were last weekend in the initial practice session at Lee," said Ricky. "I look forward to working with the guys to try to scrape another tenth or two off of our lap times from last weekend. There is a field of about 60 entries expected for the Governor's Cup 100, which means about one half of the cars will be going home without qualifying for the race," Ricky continued. "Hopefully we will be able to use our familiarity with the facility, and have a lucky draw for starting position in the qualifying heat race to get our 2008 season off to a positive start. We are up for the challenge." |
